I always admired Tiger Woods . Cuz I watched a lot of men's golf growing up. You know, being Alex Chaco is a really good friend of ours, and so, kinda followed him to certain events and saw that. Tiger woods was. Yes. Amazing to me, he still is. The shots that he pulls off are just unbelievable, and then I got to meet Jack Nicklaus which was incredible to me to be able to play with him. And recently, I got to play with Nancy Lopez , and Ms. Lopez- Yes, that's true, yeah. Nancy Lopez , being a, you know, my junior high school captain too, to be able to share that with her was awesome. That's great. Yeah, what was that like? Her as a captain? Yes. She was incredible. She was like our mom, you know, it was, I think the whole team, we got to know her so much better. We all knew who Nancy Lopez was before we went in. You know, being around her at Jerusalem High was great, very low key obviously, and then we went to watch the girls play in 09. And we couldn't go anywhere with Nancy. We had to get golf carts to every single spot, cuz everyone would just crowd her. Just mobbing her? And be like, Nancy Lopez , Nancy Lopez , can we get your autograph? Can we get your autograph? And she's such a sweet lady, too. And she's so sweet. She

School of Golf: Key Swing Fundamental
School of Golf's Martin Hall teaches how a simple painted line can help improve your impact position and create consistent divots. Watch School of Golf Wednesdays 7PM ET.So, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to put my golf ball -- you could just take practice swings. You could put a tee there if you haven't got somewhere to hit a golf ball . But I'm going to put my golf ball about one clubhead, you can see heel to toe in front of that line. Now, I'm going to set up and I'm going to shorten my grip 'cause it's a mat. But I'm going to learn to trap that ball against the ground, hands outside the left foot to my line of sight. And I do not want to hit that piece of tape. That would be a no-no. It's a great way to learn to get the weight shift, it's a great way to get that fundamental of the weight being forwards. And whether you're actually hitting golf ball -- go on. Ooh. Not too bad for an old one, I have to tell you. See, it works. Whether you're actually hitting balls or practice swinging, it's going to get you ready to really get going when the snow melts outside or enjoy your golf down here in the sunshine. The Golf Fix E-Mail Bag: Reverse Pivot Drill COPY
The Golf Fix's Michael Breed answers Harry from Erie, Pa.'s question about how to stop his reverse pivot.know, the majority of you that slice the ball in your full swing , you're slicing it with your putting stroke as well and it's a very common failure. This e-mail comes to us from Harry in Erie, Pennsylvania. I tend to reverse pivot with my driver and some of my longer clubs, any recommendations or drills to fix this? Yeah. I've got a really good one and a day like this will help you. Here's what you're gonna do. Come on bring that camera over here and point it on the ground so you can see the shadow there if you could. Alright, here's what a reverse pivot looks like. I'm trying to hit the ball down that way. A reverse pivot is gonna look where my shadow is going towards the target in the back swing and then going away from the target in the down swing and through swing . What the purpose of the shadow is, is that it's gonna teach you what your doing when you get out there. So, you find the shadow and you get the shadow perpendicular to you and then what you're gonna do is you're gonna make a swing and you know what, I'm gonna back up so here so I get the golf ball right in the middle of my head right there. Can you see that over there? Okay, good. So what I'm gonna do is, I'm gonna pay attention to what my shadow does. If I reverse pivot, my head's gonna go ahead of the golf ball there and now I know I'm in trouble and then when I watch it go this way, it's going behind the golf ball in the other direction. What I wanna have happened is I want my shadow to go in the direction that I'm moving the club. So, when I move the club back this way, I want my shadow to go back behind the ball and then when I move the club this way, I want my shadow to go forward of the ball. So, I'm gonna get that feeling. and what that feels like to go there and there. Get a feeling of what that's like then I'm gonna get into here and I'm gonna do a practice swing mimicking that. So, I'm gonna get back here like this and forward of that and I'm gonna feel my body move in there and then we're gonna get in. We're gonna kill this ball. Okay. So remember, as they say only the shadow knows. When you have that shadow out there, it can be your friend. It can be your teacher and it'll help you with the reverse pivot. Tune in to Golf Channel . Monday nights at 8 Eastern and get your game fixed.
