The Honda LPGA Thailand tournament will return to Siam Country Club at the Pattaya Old Course for its seventh year this week. Started just back in 2006, this event was the first LPGA tournament to be played in Thailand and increased the number of participating countries on the LPGA schedule to eight. This 72-hole stroke play with no cut will be comprised of the top sixty available players from the LGPA Tour’s official Money List. The world’s current number one, Yain Tseng of Taiwan, will be back to defend her consecutive champion titles, after finishing just one stroke ahead of 2010’s champion Ali Miyazato last year.
