THE LPGA Tour will celebrate the second annual Kingsmill Championship tournament this week as the world’s best female golfers make their way to the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA. Recently revived by Pete Dye, The Rivers Course is a par 71 layout that lies along the James River and has time after time earned a spot on Golfweek Magazine’s Top Ten Virginia Courses. In 2012 with the tournament’s debut, Paula Creamer went ahead to take home the number one spot in an unforgettable playoff round against Jiyai Shin, making it the longest playoff between two players in the history of the LPGA.
