The Colombia Championship is set to kickoff this week as the second leg of the Web.com Tour at Columbia’s oldest golf course, the Country Club de Bogota. Previously known as the Pacific Rubiales Colombia Championship, this event began just back in 2010. Last year’s champion Skip Kendall of the USA went on to win the title with an impressive 25 foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole, finishing at 10-under 274 and earning $108,000. The tournament’s total purse this year is $700,000.
