For PGA Professional Dan Rooney, the pressure of a birdie putt on the 18th hole is nothing compared to what he has seen and lived in his life. That's because Rooney doubles as an F-16 Pilot in the Air National Guard and has served his country in three tours of duty in Iraq. Rooney was so moved by witnessing a fallen soldier that he started the Folds of Honor organization, which provides scholarships to the spouses and children of troops injured or killed in action. Folds of Honor's flagship event is called Patriot Golf Day, held over Labor Day Weekend, where over 3,500 golf courses collect donations for the foundation.
