Golf In America

Golf In America | Nov 04, 2009

76-year-old Willie McRae has been looping since the age of 9 and is in such high demand at Pinehurst that golfers try to book him in advance. From a $1.25 payday for a round in 1943 to his current work schedule of over 6 days and 10 rounds per week, Willie has seen it all at Pinehurst, and he's shared it with his family. His son Paul is golf pro at Pinehurst and his grandson Darick is following in his footsteps, learning the ropes as a caddie at the North Carolina resort. Golf in America will follow Willie to see what makes him so successful, we'll meet his family and friends, and we'll see the course that has helped land Willie a spot in the Caddie Hall of Fame.
