Golf In America

Golf In America | Sep 11, 2011

Golf in America pays tribute to 9/11. Visit Ken Eichel, who was a fireman that was also competing for a spot in the U.S. Mid-Amateur the day tragedy struck the Twin Towers. After losing his leg in Iraq in 2007, Chad Pfeifer took up golf for therapeutic reasons and is now competing for the National Amputee Championship. Finally, visit Ken Flanigan, a former firefighter who now makes custom-built putters. In honor of the 343 firefighters that died on 9/11, Flanigan is creating 343 handmade individually numbered putters, with all of the profits going to the National Fallen Firefighters Association.
