Norvell is responsible for overseeing all strategic and operational aspects of GOLF Channel’s digital Direct-to-Consumer products and services, which is led by GOLFPASS, a comprehensive digital golf membership tailored to the modern golfer’s lifestyle. She works with key leaders across the organization to enhance and amplify the company’s relationship with its members, ensuring GOLF products and programs are an indispensable part of the golf lifestyle.
Most recently, Norvell served as Vice President of Marketing for GOLFNOW, where she led both domestic and international teams with the goal of driving continued interest, adoption and growth for the business. She managed both consumer and business-to-business marketing efforts, spearheading the positioning and messaging strategy, as well as the development and execution of marketing promotions and programs that drive demand while maximizing revenue for several brands and products. Norvell served in a variety of roles with GOFLNOW since joining the company in 2012, including Director of Emerging Marketing, Senior Director of Marketing and others.
Previously, Norvell worked in social media marketing at Universal Orlando Resort, developing strategy and content for both award-winning theme parks; and also held roles at True Marketing, GCI Group, the Pilot Pen ATP/WTA Tennis Tournament and the NBA’s Orlando Magic. She is a graduate of Anderson University, where she studied Marketing and Public Relations. Amanda considers herself an Ohio born-and-raised Floridian.
