Play-by-Play Host, Nationwide Tour and PGA TOUR
On-course Reporter, PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour

Jerry Foltz has been a mainstay on Golf Channel’s live tournaments team since 1999, and has covered every tour for the network.  His first job with the Golf Channel was in the production truck for the network’s first NIKE Tour event (now Nationwide Tour) in 1995, during the network’s first year.  Currently, he serves as play-by-play host for the network’s Nationwide Tour and select PGA TOUR coverage, as well as an on-course reporter for PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour broadcasts.

A professional golfer since 1985, Foltz’s career accomplishments include victories at the 1994 Taco Bell Newport Classic (known then as the Little Crosby) and the 1995 South Carolina Classic, and runner-up finishes at the 1991 Ben Hogan Pensacola Open and Elizabethtown Open.  A graduate of the University of Arizona, he was an All PAC-10 selection in 1984 and also won the 1984 Arizona Amateur Stroke Play Championship. Foltz lives by the words “Golf is an art, not a science.” He and his wife have one son, Jackson.
