Julie Lusk, Vice President, Human Resources, is responsible for overseeing talent management, organizational assessment and operational excellence to optimize both individual and organizational success at Golf Channel. With an employee base of more than 1,000, Lusk helps attract, develop and retain top talent while continuously making Golf Channel a great place to work.
Prior to joining Golf Channel, Lusk was Vice President, Human Resources for Gannett’s Broadcast Division, and prior, held the position of Vice President/HR Business Partner Team for the South Region. Her previous experience with Gannett includes positions as South Group Human Resources Director, Human Resources Director for FLORIDA TODAY and Assistant Director of Human Resources for FLORIDA TODAY. Prior to joining Gannett, she was a Human Resources Manager for Premier Cruise Lines in Port Canaveral, Fla.
Lusk was selected as a finalist for Gannett’s Corporate Staffer of the Year in March 2015. She also is a six-time winner of the Gannett President’s Ring for Excellence in Human Resources and was named the Outstanding Human Resources Executive in 2006.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Management and Marketing from Towson University (Towson, Md.) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology (Melbourne, Fla.).
Julie and her husband, Patrick, have one daughter, Danielle, who currently attends Auburn University.
