Mark Lye


Mark Lye serves as an on-course reporter and tower analyst for Golf Channel’s coverage of the Nationwide Tour and PGA TOUR.  He also is a recurring studio analyst for Golf Central and Golf Central Pre Game.  Lye’s 18-year PGA TOUR career included 40 top-10 finishes, including his lone victory at the 1983 Bank of Boston Classic.  His top finish at a major championship is a T-6 at the 1984 Masters.  In February, 2007, Lye was inducted into the California Golf Writers Hall of Fame along with the likes of Phil Rodgers and Tiger Woods.  Lye has been with the Golf Channel since its launch in January 1995.
