Steve Burkowski

Steve Burkowski is a reporter and producer for Golf Central, covering amateur events and the college golf ranks for the network.  He also serves as a tower and on-course reporter at select USGA events, in-studio commentator for the network’s European Tour coverage and field producer for PGA TOUR events.  Burkowski has been with Golf Channel since 2000, where he began as a production assistant for Golf Central.  He also was lead producer and co-host for College Central, the network’s college golf news show, from 2003-06.

Prior to joining Golf Channel, Burkowski worked in Columbia, S.C. at WVOC 560 AM and Sports Radio 1400. He covered The Masters and the Verizon Heritage, was the voice of Lady Gamecock basketball, host of 'The Wake-Up Call' and 'The Cheap Seats' and was co-host of the local pre-game football and pre-game basketball shows for the University of South Carolina.  Burkowski also hosted “The 19th Hole,” a weekly golf radio show.
