Daly DiMarco Withdraw from Canadian Open

PGA Tour (75x100)ANCASTER, Ontario -- John Daly withdrew from the Canadian Open on Tuesday, five days after he pulled out of a tournament in Germany because of a gastrointestinal virus.
The 40-year-old Daly spent a couple of hours at a Munich hospital last Thursday morning and doctors advised him not to play in the BMW International.
U.S. Ryder Cup player Chris DiMarco also withdrew Tuesday along with Ben Crane and Vance Veazey. They didn't cite reasons for pulling out of the national championship that starts Thursday at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club.
The four players were replaced in the field by Alex Aragon, Ryan Hietala, Bill Glasson and John Engler Jr.
