Elder Bush Collapses on Golf Course

HOUSTON -- Former President George H-W Bush has been released from a California hospital, after being admitted overnight.
He was taken there yesterday after collapsing during an afternoon golf game in Palm Springs.
Bush's chief of staff says the former president fainted while playing golf with friends in 94-degree heat. She says Bush 'became dehydrated,' but that he regained consciousness 'right away.'
The spokeswoman says Bush is 'fine.' She says the 82-year-old is resuming his normal schedule, and that he's slated to give a speech in Los Angeles before returning to Houston tonight.
