Eriksson Haeggman Share Lead in Qatar

Klas Eriksson and Joakim Haeggman shot 6-under-par 66s Thursday and shared early first-round lead at the Qatar Masters.
Thirty-nine players were still on the course when play was halted due to darkness. The tournament started nearly two hours late due to heavy fog at the 7,110-yard Doha Golf Club.
Haeggman had a bogey-free round that included six birdies. Starting on the back nine, he birdied three of his first four holes and reached the turn in 32.
Eriksson, also starting at No. 10, played the back nine in 3-under-paid, then birdied the first three holes of the front nine.
Adam Scott, Ian Garbutt and Soren Hansen were at 67, and Colin Montgomerie and defending champion Tony Johnstone were among eight golfers at 68. Ian Woosnam was at 69 and Darren Clarke at 70.
