Female player misses cut in Canadian Tour debut

CALGARY, Alberta – Isabelle Beisiegel followed her opening 7-over 78 with a 1-under 70 on Friday in her Canadian Tour debut to miss the cut in the ATB Financial Classic at Bearspaw Country Club.

The 32-year-old Beisiegel, from Montreal, became the first female player to earn a playing card on a men’s professional golf tour on May 27 when she tied for ninth in the Spring Qualifying School.

Americans Daniel Im (66) and Alex Coe (67) shared the lead at 9 under.
