Florida Man Accused of DUI in Golf Cart

DELAND, Fla. (AP) ' A Florida man has been accused of driving while drunk and fleeing from police ' in a golf cart. And local authorities say it's par for the course.
Authorities in DeLand say David Johnson was pulled over by an officer this week while driving a golf cart down a state road.
The officer called for backup and asked Johnson to take a field sobriety test. That's when Johnson allegedly refused, cursed at the officers and sped off with officers chasing him on foot.
After failing to shoot Johnson with a stun gun, an officer finally chased him down and wrestled him to a stop.
Johnson is charged with drunken driving, fleeing, eluding and resisting arrest.
Police say Johnson has been convicted of driving drunk before.
