Hyett Edges Davies in Austalian Players with 9-Foot Putt

NELSON BAY, Australia -- Australian rookie Tamara Hyett made a 9-foot putt on the first hole of a playoff with England's Laura Davies on Sunday to win the Players' Championship.
 
Davies matched the Horizons Golf Resort record with a 6-under 67 to match Hyett at 11-under 281. Hyett shot a 76.
 
Karrie Webb and other top players will be in Australia the next two weeks for the ANZ Ladies Masters and Australian Women's Open.
