Sutton Withdraws Due to Injury

Hal Sutton withdrew from the Masters on Thursday because of a pulled muscle on his right side.
Sutton's game has never been suited for Augusta National. The 1983 PGA champion has never finished higher than 10th at the Masters, and he has missed the cut in 11 of the 16 Masters he's entered.
He warmed up Thursday morning, but realized he couldn't play before his 9:03 a.m. tee time.
The 43-year-old Sutton has struggled this year. He hasn't finished higher than 23rd in any tournament, and has fallen from 34th to 57th in the world rankings.
