USGA ESPN Extend Network Contract

NEW YORK -- ESPN completed a four-year extension with the United States Golf Association on Thursday that will keep the U.S. Open, U.S. Women's Open and the U.S. Senior Open on the network through 2008.
ESPN has televised USGA championships since 1982.
The 2003 U.S. Open was ESPN's highest-rated and most-viewed golf event last year, earning a 2.4 rating and 2,038,000 household impressions.
