Rarely do things that tout themselves as the "world's best" live up to the hype. Think about the last time you had the "world's best cup of coffee" or the "world's best apple pie." There's a good chance you walked away disappointed.

Well after trying Kentwool Performance Golf Socks, I can tell you firsthand, there is no better sock on the market. Not because I've tested them all, but because there's nothing else you could possibly improve in terms of comfort and performace. As promised, after a day on the course my feet were blister-free, completely dry and odorless, which I would attribute to the superfine Merino wool – a natural smart fiber –with windspun technology.

And while the comfort and performance are already second to none, Kentwool continues to roll out new products to appeal to every golfer. At the PGA Show in January, they launched their KW series Sport, which has an even softer feel with advanced moisture wicking and their Pro-Light line for those seeking a thinner in-shoe feel.

The one hurdle to get over as a consumer is the price. Most of Kentwool's Performance Golf Socks go in the $20 range with some of their other socks retailing for slightly more. And while most of us have been conditioned that socks are supposed to be a cheaper aticle of clothing, Kentwool is changing the narrative, and making it totally worth it. Because of the high-quality materials put into these socks, they should be treated as an investment. You wont be ripping holes and throwing them away every other time you tee it up. And they feel exactly the same going into the washing machine as they do coming out.

The watershed moment in golf footwear came at a 2008 Tour charity pro-am. Mark Kent, president and CEO of Kentwool, had a chance to make it to the final round of competition. But instead of focusing on the golf ahead of him, all he could think about was the painful blisters on his feet. Walking off the course that day, he asked his caddie, "Why doesn’t anyone make a better golf sock?” His caddie retorted, "You run a manufacturing company, why don’t you?” And the rest, as they say, is history.

“We engineered the world’s best golf sock, but we keep evolving our products to stay out in front.” said Kent. “By listening to our customers and Tour players we keep consistent demand which in turn creates long-term revenue opportunities for our retail partners.”

Fast-forward to today, and Kentwool socks are trusted in competition by some of the games biggest names, including Bubba Watson, Matt Kuchar, Ryann O’Toole, Peter Jacobsen, Duffy Waldorf and Brendon de Jonge. And the reason is simple – feel better, play better.

Kentwool is so confident that you will never try a better golf sock that they offer a 30-day money back guarantee. No questions asked. For more information about Kentwool Performance Golf Socks and their new KW Series Sport and Pro-Light Sock lines, vist Kentwool online.
