This week marks the 46th event of the 2014-15 PGA Tour season, as 70 players tee it up at the BMW Championship. Each week, a panel of experts will offer up their picks from four groups of players, based on Golf Channel's fantasy game, Fantasy Challenge. We will also keep track of their scores and standings. The panel includes: senior writers Rex Hoggard and Randall Mell; editorial director Jay Coffin; associate editor Will Gray; 'Morning Drive' host Gary Williams; host Charlie Rymer and defending fantasy champion Ryan Lavner.
Group 1: Jason Day: A victory this week moves the Australian to No. 1 in the World Golf Ranking and he has good history at Conway Farms, where he finished tied for fourth in 2013.
Group 2: Henrik Stenson: The Swede finished runner-up in his last two starts and after his meltdown at the BMW two years ago, when he broke his driver and a locker, he is due for some good karma on the north side.
Group 3: Chris Kirk: Although he started slowly with a missed cut in his first event back after a wrist injury, he rebounded last week at TPC Boston (T-29).
Group 4: Brendon de Jonge: The East Lake bubble looms for de Jonge (he’s 49th on the FedEx Cup point list) but he played well the last time the BMW was played at Conway Farms.
