This week the 2016 fantasy golf season heads to Louisiana, as 156 players tee it up at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Each week, a panel of experts will offer up their picks from four groups of players, based on Golf Channel's fantasy game, Fantasy Challenge. We will also keep track of their scores and standings. The panel includes: senior writers Rex Hoggard and Randall Mell; editorial director Jay Coffin; associate editor Will Gray; 'Morning Drive' host Gary Williams; host Charlie Rymer and defending fantasy champion Ryan Lavner.
Group 1: Jason Day: Since reclaiming the top spot in the World Golf Ranking the Australian has been predictably consistent, but not dominant. Expect that to change this week.
Group 2: Billy Horschel: His tie for fourth place last week in Texas was the boost he needed to get his season on track and TPC Louisiana is the site of his first PGA Tour victory in 2013.
Group 3: David Toms: NOLA is as close to a home game as Toms gets and he’s certainly enjoyed plenty of success in the Big Easy where he’s had six top-25 finishes and he won in 2001.
Group 4: Lucas Glover: The veteran’s putting continues to improve thanks to his work with Brad Faxon, and he’s been solid since his tie for 27th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Group 1: Jason Day: The world No. 1 hasn't finished outside of the top 25 since Torrey Pines, with two wins in that span. A T-4 finish a year ago in NOLA indicates that streak will continue.
Group 2: Daniel Berger: The reigning Rookie of the Year finished T-6 here last year, and top-10 finishes in each of his last two starts indicate the wrist injury he suffered in Austin is not affecting his play.
Group 3: David Hearn: The Canadian has played well in this event over the last four years, including a top-10 finish last year, and he finished T-13 last week in San Antonio.
Group 4: Luke List: List continues to make the most of his limited status, and now has five top-30 finishes in his last seven starts overall.
