DUBLIN, Ohio - Matt Kuchar has been on a roll lately, and he didn’t slow down Thursday at one of his favorite golf courses.
The 2013 Memorial champion fired a bogey-free 66 to finish in a five-way tie for third and just two shots behind leader Dustin Johnson.
“This tournament has to be my best track record of all the tournaments I play through the years,” Kuchar said. “Seem to come through with nice finishes, seem to put together a lot of good rounds. Today was another one.”
In 11 starts at the Memorial, Kuchar has made nine cuts and finished in the top 10 five times.

“Just got things going really well,” he said. “I feel awfully comfortable with all facets of the game.”
