Cabrera-Bello, Cazaubon make Olympic moves

Rafael Cabrera-Bello punched his ticket to the Masters with his third-place showing at the WGC-Dell Match Play, but that wasn't the only extra benefit from the Spaniard's surprising run through the bracket.

He also nearly solidified a spot in the Olympics, representing Spain behind Sergio Garcia. Cabrera-Bello is now up to No. 36 in the world - 96 spots ahead of the next highest-ranked Spaniard, Miguel Angel Jimenez.

But Cabrera-Bello wasn't the only player to make an Olympic charge this weekend, as Rodolfo Cazaubon took a big step toward representing Mexico in Rio with his T-3 finish at the Puerto Rico Open, a result that jumped him over Carlos Ortiz for his country's top spot.

A total of 60 men will qualify for the Olympics, with a max of two players per country (the max is raised to four per country if all are ranked inside the top 15). Qualification will run through the Open Championship in July.
