KAPALUA, Hawaii – The fans have spoken – and they’ve paired defending champion Dustin Johnson with Adam Scott at this week’s Hyundai Tournament of Champions.
Through an online and social media vote, the reigning Masters champion beat out two other contenders to form the marquee pairing of the opening round. They will tee off Friday in the last of 15 twosomes at 5:50 p.m. ET.
Other power pairings include Jason Dufner and Gary Woodland (5:10 p.m.), Brandt Snedeker and Billy Horschel (5:20 p.m.), Jordan Spieth and Webb Simpson (5:30 p.m.) and Zach Johnson and Matt Kuchar (5:40 p.m.).
The tournament will be contested once again on a Friday through Monday schedule.
