DORAL, Fla. – Two weeks after introducing himself to most American golf fans in the form of a WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship runner-up finish, Victor Dubuisson has decided to stick around for a little while longer.

It was announced Wednesday that Dubuisson has taken up PGA Tour Special Temporary Membership for the remainder of the 2013-14 season.

Dubuisson is eligible for unlimited sponsor exemptions for the remainder of the season and will attempt to earn his 2014-15 PGA Tour card through the nonmember money List or non-member FedEx Cup points list. He’s amassed $1,061,906 in earnings so far and 409 nonmember FedEx Cup points.

In addition to the second-place finish at the Match Play, he’s compiled results of T-59 at the Farmers Insurance Open, T-13 at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and T-40 at the Northern Trust Open.
