PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Rickie Fowler couldn’t muster a Sunday charge, but he left the Honda Classic with yet another top-10 finish.
After taking the 36-hole lead, Fowler made too many weekend mistakes to contend and yet still tied for sixth.
Fowler didn’t make a bogey over the first two rounds, but he made eight of them on the weekend.

“Not a terrible tournament, still a decent finish,” Fowler said. “Not bad to not play well for two of the four days and still get a good finish.”
In five worldwide starts this calendar year, Fowler has finished sixth or better in four of them.
“It wasn't playing easy out there, for sure,” Fowler said. “It’s a fine line between playing well on this golf course and it eating you alive.”
