Friday pairings: U.S. faces Thailand at Int. Crown

GURNEE, Ill. – After being swept Thursday by England at the UL International Crown, the Americans’ task doesn’t get any easier on Friday at the Merit Club.

The United States will meet Thailand, a rising star in Asian women’s golf.

Thailand is led by Ariya Jutanugarn, the first Thai to win an LPGA event. Jutanugarn went on to win three times in a row.

Here are Friday’s fourball pairings (all times ET):

9 a.m. – Australia’s Minjee Lee and Su Oh vs. China’s Shanshan Feng and Xi Yu Lin

9:15 a.m. – Australia’s Karrie Webb and Rebecca Artis vs. China’s Jing Yan and Simin Feng

9:30 a.m. – Japan’s Ai Suzuki and Ayaka Watanabe vs England’s Jodi Ewart Shadoff and Holly Clyburn

9:45 a.m. – Japan’s Mika Miyazato and Haru Nomura vs. England’s Charley Hull and Mel Reid

10 a.m. – United States’ Gerina Piller and Stacy Lewis vs. Thailand’s Moriya Jutanugarn and Pornanong Phatlum
