While Loupe has led an event in driving distance already this season, the 365 yard drive helped him to longest drive for the first time this season. Loupe finished in a tie for 45th.

Loupe makes a return to the top of this category for the first time since the Zurich Classic. Five of the last six leaders in this statistic have finished 45th or worse in that week’s Tour event.

DJ had the furthest carry distance for the third time this season. While total driving distance leader Bubba Watson sat idle at home, Johnson closed the gap on his lead. DJ finished T-14 at Colonial.

Loupe had the fastest clubhead speed for the fourth time this season.

Loupe nearly made a clean sweep in distance stats at the Crowne Plaza. This marks the fourth time this season Loupe had the fastest ball speed.
