Each week on, we’ll take a detailed look at the players who pounded the farthest and fastest drives on the PGA Tour. Here are the five most important distance-related stats from the Humana Challenge, won by Bill Haas:

Longest drive: Tony Finau, 366 yards

This is the second time in seven starts this season the rookie has led the field with the longest drive, having already launched one 371 yards at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open back in October. Finau finished T-59 at the Humana at 10 under par.

Recent leaders: Jason Day, 365 yards (Sony Open); Jason Day and Geoff Ogilvy, 409 yards (Hyundai Tournament of Champions)

Driving distance: Tony Finau, 319.9 yards

One of the Tour's longest hitters, Finau is fifth on Tour in average driving distance but is only hitting 56.6 percent of his fairways. That's 152nd on Tour. At the Humana, he finished 48th in driving accuracy, at 64.7 percent.

Recent leaders: Steven Bowditch, 318.4 (Sony Open); Bubba Watson, 300.6 yards (Hyundai Tournament of Champions)

Carry distance: Tony Finau, 307.0 yards

You may be sensing a pattern here. Finau not only lead this category for the second time this season - averaging 317.1 at the Shriners -but he's also leading the Tour, at 305.6 yards.

Recent leaders: Daniel Berger, 299.1 yards (Sony Open); Bubba Watson, 285.9 (Hyundai Tournament of Champions)

One more and it's a clean sweep. This is the third occasion this year Finau has led an event in average clubhead speed, registering 125.53 at the Shriners and 124.11 at the McGladrey Classic. Those weeks also featured higher finishes: T-7 and T-14, respectively.

Recent leaders: Charles Howell III, 121.14 (Sony Open); Bubba Watson, 124.18 (Hyundai Tournament of Champions)

Ball speed: Tony Finau, 184.04

Guess who. This is another stat Finau topped at both the Shriners (186.36) and McGladrey (184.31). This Finau guy, he's pretty lengthy.
