
GURNEE, Ill. – Korea completed a sweep of Australia in Sunday morning’s resumption of the weather suspended third-round matches.
Korea’s So Yeon Ryu and Sei Young Kim defeated Karrie Webb and Rebecca Artis, 3 and 2, and Korea’s In Gee Chun and Amy Yang defeated Minjee Lee and Su Oh, 1 up.
Korea’s sweep moved them to the top of the Pool A standings with eight points and secured its spot in Sunday singles. Australia was eliminated from the competition.
England won Pool B with nine points and will be the top seed going into Sunday singles.
