Michelle Wie continues a rocket ride up the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.

With her victory Saturday night at the Lotte Championship, Wie could move up as high as 10 spots in the world rankings to No. 13 when the newest rankings are released on Monday. She shouldn’t be lower than No. 15.

How good is that? When Wie left the Kraft Nabisco Championship a year ago, she was in a freefall at No. 88 in the world.

With her second-place finish at this year’s Kraft Nabisco Championship, Wie moved from No. 38 in the world to No. 23. Winning the Lotte Championship could bump her over both Angela Stanford and Lizette Salas and make her the fifth highest ranked American in the world behind No. 3 Stacy Lewis, No. 6 Lexi Thompson, No. 9 Paula Creamer and No. 11 Cristie Kerr.

When the Rolex Women’s World Rankings were first released in February of 2006, Wie ranked No. 3 as a 16-year-old.
