Group play is over, and the knockout rounds have begun at the WGC-Cadillac Match Play Championship. Check back for match-by-match results as the field is trimmed from 16 to four players:

Round of 16

(50) Gary Woodland def. (56) Marc Leishman, 2 and 1: Woodland started quickly, winning the first two holes and building a 3-up lead after eight. While Leishman fought back and squared the match after 13 holes, Woodland rolled in a 30-footer on No. 14 to regain the lead and added another birdie on No. 15. He moves on to face Senden in the quarterfinals.

(60) John Senden def. (31) Hunter Mahan, 2 and 1: Mahan hadn't trailed at any point in his first three matches, and he appeared in line for another win after building a 2-up lead at the turn. But Senden fired back, winning four holes in a six-hole stretch from Nos. 10-15, and he closed things out when Mahan sent his tee shot on No. 17 into the gallery.

(56) Tommy Fleetwood def. (38) Branden Grace, 2 and 1: Fleetwood eagled the first hole and never trailed, turning a 1-up lead into a 3-up advantage with wins on Nos. 9 and 10. Grace won the 11th hole to trim the deficit, but he never got any closer as both players parred each of the final six holes of the match.

(48) Danny Willett def. (26) Lee Westwood, 2 and 1: Westwood grabbed headlines by ousting Jordan Spieth on Friday, but it will be fellow Englishman Willett who is moving on. The match was all square through 11 holes before Willett birdied Nos. 12 and 15, closing things out when Westwood missed a short par putt on No. 16. The result sets up an all-English semifinal between Willett and Fleetwood.

(5) Jim Furyk def. (12) J.B. Holmes, 5 and 3: In a matchup between two of the event's top-seeded players, Holmes was never able to get on track. His birdie on the first hole was his only circle of the day, and Furyk took control of the match with three birdies in a four-hole stretch from Nos. 10-13 before Holmes conceded the match on No. 15. Furyk will face Louis Oosthuizen in the quarterfinals.

(1) Rory McIlroy def. (16) Hideki Matsuyama, 6 and 5: The biggest rout of the Round of 16 was authored by McIlroy, who never gave Matsuyama a chance with birdies on six of his first 12 holes. McIlroy built a 4-up lead at the turn and only increased it from there, setting up a quarterfinal match with Paul Casey.

(36) Paul Casey def. (37) Charl Schwartzel, 3 and 1:Casey took his first lead with a birdie on No. 7, and extended it to 4 up through 12. Schwartzel cut the advantage in half with birdies at 14 and 15, but Casey closed him out at the 17th. Casey will take on McIlroy in the quarterfinals.

(30) Louis Oosthuizen def. (13) Rickie Fowler, 1 up: It came down to one bad swing for Fowler, who hit his second shot on the par-5 18th into deep rough - more like hay - to the right of the green and needed two shots to reach the green. That left him a long putt for par, which he missed and promptly conceded the hole and the match. Oosthuizen will face Jim Furyk in the quarterfinals.
