The Volvo World Match Play Championship finally has a home for 2014: London Golf Club.

The Kent, England, course will host the Oct. 15-19 event, it was announced Wednesday by the European Tour.

The 16-man event will feature a purse of more than $3 million, with a first-place check of $880,000.

The field will be split into four groups of four in the group stages, before the leading two players proceed to the knockout phase to be played over the weekend. It is now a five-day event, beginning on a Wednesday.

Defending champion Graeme McDowell – who won at Thracian Cliffs in Bulgaria – and 2013 Race to Dubai champion Henrik Stenson have already confirmed that they will participate.
