Every once in a while, Bernhard Langer proves he's still human.
Playing some of his best golf at 57 years old, the reigning Charles Schwab Cup champion got off to a rocky start (literally) at the Champions Tour season-opener in Hawaii.
So what happened? Well, we will leave that to the video below where Lanny Wadkins, Mark Rolfing and the rest of the Golf Channel crew describe the mess Langer got himself into on the par-5 seventh. Let's just say it involved lava rocks, lots of thick grass and a double hit.
The good news is Langer's 10 was on a par 5, and he still managed to shoot even par.
(Note: The video says Langer made a nine on the hole, but it was later clarified he recorded a 10.)
