Dustin Johnson birdied four of the last five holes Saturday, and he leads by three at the BMW Championship. Here's what You Oughta Know heading into the final round at Crooked Stick.

• This is Johnson's first 54-hole lead or co-lead since the 2015 U.S. Open (finished T-2). He is 2-for-6 converting 54-hole leads or co-leads in his PGA Tour career.

• Johnson has two wins this season. He has never won three times in a season.

• Johnson has 11 PGA Tour wins, which is the third-most among all players since 2008. Only Tiger Woods (18) and Rory McIlroy (12) have more wins in that span.

• Even with a three-shot lead, recent history is not on DJ's side. Nine of the last 11 players with a three-shot lead after 54 holes did not win.

• Johnson switched to a new putter this week, and so far it's paying off. He leads the field in strokes-gained putting this week.

• For the second straight week, Paul Casey will be in the final group. He held a three-shot lead entering final round of Deutsche Bank Championship and finished second.

• Casey has only made one bogey through three rounds.

• J.B. Holmes, who finished 10th in Ryder Cup points, is making a good case for a captain's pick. U.S. captain Davis Love III will make three picks on Monday and one after the Tour Championship. Holmes hasn't recorded a top-25 since the Open Championship, but he is in third place (four back) heading into the final round.

• Matt Kuchar is also trying to earn a captain's pick, and he is tied for fifth after three rounds.

• After two wins on the Florida Swing, Adam Scott has caught fire again in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. He finished T-4 at The Barclays and fourth at the Deutsche Bank. Scott is T-5 after a 67 on Saturday.
