Big Break Sandals Resorts’ contestant Ryann O’Toole recorded her second win as a professional on Sunday at the Falls Auto Group Classic in London, Ky. O’Toole, 23, of San Clemente, Calif., defeated Angela Buzminski with a birdie on the second playoff hole after both players turned in seven-under-par 65 to claim share of the lead at the end of regulation.
The victory was O’Toole’s second on the Duramed FUTURES Tour in 2010, both coming after filming of the Golf Channel series. In May, she won the rain-shortened Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City Championship.
O’Toole is one of nine contestants remaining on Big Break Sandals Resorts, airing Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET.
Past Big Break champions have won tournament exemptions to compete on some of the world’s top professional circuits, such as the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour, European Tour, LPGA Tour, Nationwide Tour and Canadian Tour. Several previous female contestants have gone on to compete on the LPGA Tour, including Kristy McPherson, who also was a member of the 2009 U.S. Solheim Cup Team.
