Expert Picks: 2015 LPGA Kia Classic

This week marks the third LPGA event of the 2015 season, as the circuit heads to California for the Kia Classic. Each week, a panel of experts will offer up their picks from four groups of players, based on Golf Channel's fantasy game, Fantasy Challenge. We will also keep track of their scores and standings. The panel includes: senior writers Rex Hoggard, Randall Mell and Jason Sobel; editorial director Jay Coffin; associate editor Will Gray; 'Morning Drive' host Gary Williams; host Charlie Rymer and defending fantasy champion Ryan Lavner.

Rex Hoggard

Group 1: Lydia Ko: The world No. 1 tied for sixth at the Founders Cup and the last time she finished outside the top five (T-7 at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic) she won her next start.

Group 2: Hyo-Joo Kim: The rookie already has two victories on the LPGA Tour and last week's triumph at the Founders Cup was particularly impressive considering she held off a charge from Stacy Lewis.

Group 3: Mi-Hyang Lee: She finished T-3 last week at the Founders Cup and hasn't missed a cut this year.

Group 4: Alison Lee: In limited starts this season, she's tied for 24th (Founders Cup) and 13th (Coates Golf Championship, including a third-round 63 last week.

Will Gray

Group 1: Stacy Lewis: She continues to come up just short in events as she looks to chase down Lydia Ko atop the Rolex Rankings, but a breakthrough victory is just around the corner.

Group 2: Cristie Kerr: Kerr has a great track record at this event, with three top-five finishes across the last four years including a T-3 result in 2013.

Group 3: Ariya Jutanugarn: Not deviating from my standard LPGA Group 3 pick, as Jutanugarn continues to pile up solid results in her comeback from injury.

Group 4: Jaye Marie Green: In her sophomore season on Tour, Green has a pair of top-25 finishes in her last three starts.
