124 Players Survive Regional Qualifying

Regional qualifying for the 130th British Open concluded Tuesday at 16 sites in Great Britain and Ireland. A total of 2236 competitors, the second highest in Open history, played 36 holes for a chance to be one of 124 players to reach final qualifying this Sunday and Monday.
They will join 260 exempt qualifiers at four sites (Fairhaven, Hillside, St Annes Old Links and Southport & Ainsdale) for 26 places in next Thursday's British Open.
Notable players among those who will be a part of the 384 players at final qualifying are:
Fairhaven - Steven Ames, Glenn Day, Luke Donald (Am), Scott Dunlap, Angel Franco, Brandt Jobe, Per Ulrik Johansson, Miguel Angel Martin, Gary Nicklaus, Costantino Rocca, Jarmo Sandelin, Adam Scott, Jeff Sluman and Steen Tinning.
Hillside - Alex Cejka, Harrison Frazar, David Howell, Mark James, Barry Lane, Franklin Langham and Wayne Riley.
St. Annes Old Links - Paul Broadhurst, Robert Damron, Ross Drummond, Gabriel Hjertstedt, Lucas Parsons, Jamie Spence and Sam Torrance.
Southport & Ainsdale - Paul Curry, Joel Edwards, Anders Forsbrand, Scott McCarron, Sean Murphy, Craig Parry, Sven Struver, Greg Turner, Jean Van de Velde, Philip Walton and Ian Woosnam.
