Choi Captures SK Telecom Open

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- South Korea's K.J. Choi made a 10-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole Sunday to beat compatriot Shin Yong-jin and win the SK Telecom Open.
Choi, a two-time winner on the PGA Tour last year, shot a 4-under 68 and tied Shin (69) at 15-under 201.
Choi won his second Asian PGA Tour event and ninth title in South Korea in the tournament shortened to 54 holes after rain canceled play Friday.
Corey Pavin, the 1995 U.S. Open champion, closed with a 4-under 68 and finished third at 13-under 203.
