The Golf Channel, Featherlite and Prevost, who manufactures the shell for the Featherlite Vantare, have reached an agreement to become official partners for the next three years.
Complete with a lounge area, beds, shower space, kitchen, fax machine, internet hookups, phone lines, TV, VCR/DVD player and large storage space a Featherlite Vantare Prevost H3-45 motor coach will be prepared for use by the networks junior golf team.
Each year, the coach will log more than 50,000 miles and will be a traveling billboard in 100 communities across 40 states and Canada.
We appreciate the support of Featherlite, said The Golf Channel President David Manougian. Their contribution of a motor coach certainly will help our junior golf staff and help generate awareness of our program across North America.
Featherlite Luxury Coaches looks forward to an exciting year as a major sponsor in the Drive, Chip & Putt program, said Featherlite Coach Division President Jim Wooley. Anything we can do to help grow the game of golf by supporting this program is a proud day for us as a company.
Newly named in 2004, the Mutual of Omaha Drive, Chip & Putt Junior Challenge presented by The Golf Channel provides a free and friendly opportunity for boys and girls to compete in a fun series of events designed to develop and test their golf skills, regardless of skill level or exposure to the game. More than 30,000, 7-14-year old boys and girls are expected to participate in the upcoming sixth season.
