Holland to Remain President of USGA

United States Golf Association President Trey Holland was re-elected Saturday to an additional term of one-year during the organization's annual meeting in New York City.USGA
In addition to Holland's re-election, 11 of the 14 other members of the executive committee were reinstated to their offices, with the remaining three individuals retiring.
One of the retirees was legendary women's amateur champion Carol Semple Thompson.
Holland served as the organization's Vice President for four years before being elected to President. He most recently gained notoriety when he temporarily dismissed Arnold Palmer as the board's Honorary Chairperson for the golfing legend's position in support of Callaway's ERC II driver.
Holland has since re-instated Palmer.
