McCallister On The Move

The Nationwide Tour travels into the great state of New York for this week's playing of the Lake Erie Charity Classic at The Peek N Peak Resort in Findley Lake.
Long-time PGA Tour veteran Blaine McCallister, fresh off his win at last week's Northeast Pennsylvania Classic, will be looking to make it two in a row and the first Nationwide Tour member to notch a second win of the season.
A five-time winner on the PGA Tour, his last coming in the 1993 B.C. Open, McCallister is currently 9th on the Nationwide Tour money list in just five starts and has another top-10 finish to his credit.
Though only in it's second year of existance, the Lake Erie Charity Classic can boast that the winner of this event went on to graduate to the PGA Tour the following year.
Last year's champion, Patrick Moore, collected his second title of the season here and would later nab win No. 3 at the Nationwide Tour Championship, which in turn gave him the PGA Tour's coveted 'Battlefield Promotion.'
Joe Ogilvie, the top money earner so far on tour this year, is back in the field after a week in the big leagues. Competing in the U.S. Open after successfully qualifying, Ogilvie shot a 70-74 to just miss the cut.
The purse will be $425,000, with $76,000 going to the winner.
