Myrtle Beach Tries to Keep Seniors

Myrtle Beach is attempting to keep the Senior Tour Championship, although it is rumored to be headed for Texas, Florida or California. The Tour has held the tournament in the Myrtle Beach area the past seven years.
The tour will remain in Myrtle Beach if organizers can meet the Tour's financial requirements and the title sponsor agrees to the location, said Mickey McCamish of Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday. Those requirements will be $5-750,000 above what organizers paid last year.
If Myrtle Beach does not keep the event, it could rotate among sites in Florida, Texas, California and Myrtle Beach.
