Nationwide Tour Adds Miccosukee Event

The Miccosukee Championship, to be played in Miami, has been added to the Nationwide Tour schedule Oct. 20-26.. The Hibernia Southern Open, which was in that slot, will move to the spring for 2004.

The Hibernia needs additional time to find a title sponsor.
 
The Miccosukee Championship is a direct result of a new alliance between the PGA Tour, the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida and the South Florida Golf Foundation - presenter of the Ford Championship at Doral.
 
The Miccosukee Championship, a $500,000 tournament, will be played at the Miccosukee Golf & Country Club.in Miami, Fla.
