Police Nab Two Augusta Interlopers

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Two drunken men were caught by a security guard as they tried to play a couple of holes of night golf at Augusta National, police said.

The men jumped the fence early Sunday morning at the home of the Masters, grabbed three flag pins and tried to play, according to an Augusta-Richmond County incident report.
The men, Todd Murphy and Raymond Benjamin, both in their 30s, brought their own clubs, police said. They got lost on the course and ran into a security guard while trying to leave.
Augusta National does not comment on security matters, spokesman Glenn Greenspan said. The club chose not to prosecute when the police report was filed.
