Ruangkit Captures Thailand Open

AsianPGABoonchu Ruangkit posted a final-round 5-under-par 67 to capture the Thailand Open by two strokes over Prayad Marksaeng and Korea's Kim Jong-Duk.
Ruangkit, a native of Thailand, finished the tournament at 18-under-par 270 and in the process became the oldest winner of the event at age 47. He also won the title 12 years ago and is the first two time winner of the event.
Overnight leader Kang Wook-Soon of Korea, stumbled home with a 5-over-par 77 to finish in a tie for eighth.
