Senior Tours Tradition Finds New Venue

The 2002 Tradition will move from Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, Ariz., its home since 1989, to a new venue just 30 miles away. The Superstition Mountain's Prospector course, will be the new site for the Senior PGA Tour's first major of the year.
The move was made because of parking issues at Desert Mountain which was blamed for the lack of fan support. The new venue will allow fans to park closer to the course.
The Prospector Course was designed by four-time Tradition Champion Jack Nicklaus, who also designed Desert Mountain. The course can handle 30,000 fans per day.
