Supreme Court Wont Consider USGA Case

The Supreme Court refused to revive a lawsuit which accuses the United States Golf Association of illegally dominating the business of calculating handicaps.
Handicomp.Inc. had argued that it should be allowed to pursue a claim that the USGA gives unfair advantage to the company it created to compete with such companies as itself. That company is the Golf Handicap and Information Network.
Handicomp says the lower courts ignored evidence that the USGA abuses its position. The USGA's lawyers said, and the Court has upheld, that Hamdicomp's trial witnesses said the USGA did nothing to harm Handicomp.
